This summer Reality Check Systems wrapped up its latest collaboration with longtime client Sky Deutschland (Sky DE). Our team supported the network as it launched a new look for Sky Sport News HD and its live sport production that aligns with BSkyB’s identity. Taking a graphics package provided by the parent company, our team integrated the elements into Sky DE’s infrastructure (powered by Vizrt Mosart), streamlining and automating the workflow for greater efficiency throughout the process.
The project kicked off with a complete rebuild of all BSkyB’s graphics for Sky DE to enable Mosart automation in each template. We then adapted each template to new editorial options matching the BSkyB style, and updated custom software that feeds live stats to graphics. Once complete, we updated a custom ticker that we’d developed for them five years prior, as well as wing software, and applied them to the new graphics. The Live Score Centre, custom RCS software that drives live results for multiple sports in their ticker, was also given a refresh. Our team worked closely alongside Sky Deutschland’s team throughout.
